Tony McCollister Pleads Guilty to 17 Charges in Ohio

Published 2 October 2026

Tony McCollister pleaded guilty on September 28 to 17 charges in an Ohio case, including 13 counts of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor and four counts of sexual conduct with an animal. Four assault counts and nine other child-related counts remain unresolved, according to court records and reporting on the case. The pending charges include five counts of gross sexual imposition, three counts of endangering children and one count of corrupting another with drugs. The allegations include claims that McCollister and Erica Lynne Grove drugged and sexually assaulted a young child. Those claims remain allegations against McCollister and were not resolved by his guilty pleas. McCollister’s remaining charges are to be decided in a bench trial, in which a judge rather than a jury will determine the outcome. No verdict date was specified in the available information. The September pleas resolved 17 counts but did not end the criminal case. The Warren County Sheriff’s Office said investigators found video files showing McCollister and Grove engaging in sexual conduct with two dogs. The office also said investigators uncovered evidence of alleged abuse of a child.
