Tim McGraw Marks 30th Wedding Anniversary With Faith Hill
Tim McGraw marked his 30th wedding anniversary with Faith Hill by sharing a social-media tribute recalling their wedding and praising his wife as central to the lives he shares with her and their three daughters. The couple married on October 6, 1996, in the backyard of McGraw’s aunt in Rayville, Louisiana. In an Instagram post marking the anniversary, McGraw recalled Hill walking toward him beneath a locust tree and described her as a person whose capacity for love, forgiveness and joy continues to move him. He called her the center of gravity in his life and their daughters’ lives. McGraw accompanied the tribute with a montage of photographs and video clips of the couple over the years, set to his song “My Best Friend.” He closed the post by calling Hill his best friend, lover, wife and shelter through difficult times, and expressing hope for more shared memories. McGraw and Hill have three daughters: Gracie, Maggie and Audrey. McGraw referred to Hill and their daughters as the heart of his family in the post. Their youngest daughter, Audrey, responded to the tribute with a message of affection, according to one account.
