Shakira and Dua Lipa duet in Madrid residency

Shakira brought Dua Lipa onstage in Madrid on October 3 for an acoustic duet of “Antología,” joining the singers during the eighth show of Shakira’s 12-show residency. The performance was livestreamed, and reports described it as Amazon Music’s most-viewed livestream performance by a female artist, though no audience figures or platform data were provided to substantiate that record claim. The appearance took place at the venue hosting Shakira’s Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour residency. The singers performed the 1995 song together, with Lipa appearing as a special guest. The residency was scheduled to run from September 18 through October 11, with 12 shows planned. Both artists later posted about the performance on social media. Lipa thanked Shakira for inviting her onstage and said she felt the performers and audience were united. Shakira thanked Lipa for traveling to Madrid to sing with her and share her talent. Their posts included images and video from the show and backstage. The duet followed Lipa’s performance of “Antología” during a tour stop in Bogotá.
