LEGO announces three Batman sets for January 2027

LEGO has announced three Batman sets scheduled for release on January 1, 2027, led by a 1,849-piece wall-art recreation of artist Jock’s Joker cover for Detective Comics 880. The company lists the display set at $169.99, alongside two Batmobiles priced at $59.99 and $29.99. The wall art adapts the cover of the 2011 comic, illustrated by Jock, whose full name is Mark Simpson. LEGO’s version uses raised and recessed bricks to give the Joker’s eyes and other facial features depth. The set is intended for adult builders and contains 1,849 pieces. The other releases are a 672-piece Batman Returns Batmobile Duck set for $59.99 and a 317-piece Arkham Batman Batmobile set for $29.99. Both are scheduled for January 1, 2027. The Batman Returns version combines the movie’s Batmobile with the Penguin’s Duck vehicle, while the Arkham set is based on the Batman Arkham games. The two Batmobile sets also include digital rewards for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. Each unlocks a Golden Red Brick in the game; the Batman Returns set additionally unlocks a gold Batman Returns Batmobile Batcave prop. The announcement places the three products in LEGO’s January 2027 Batman lineup.
