Nvidia Ends Revenue-Sharing Program for AI Cloud Providers
Nvidia is discontinuing its revenue-sharing agreements with AI cloud providers, a move that could significantly impact smaller companies in the artificial intelligence infrastructure sector. The chipmaker confirmed it is ending the program, which was formally introduced on July 1, 2026, and provided financial support for AI cloud companies to procure its GPUs in exchange for a share of their cloud revenue. The revenue-sharing model allowed AI cloud providers to access Nvidia's chips with financial backing from the company itself. In return, Nvidia received both traditional hardware sales revenue and a percentage of the cloud revenue those GPUs generated.
