Nothing’s CMF launches two portable speakers from $59
Nothing’s CMF brand has announced its first portable Bluetooth speakers, the Speaker S and the larger Speaker M, priced in the United States at $59 and $109. Both models are available to buy now, according to the company’s product information. The speakers use a boxy design inspired by milk cartons. CMF says buyers can swap the front panels and control knobs, and make customized designs using 3D printing. Both models are offered in white, dark grey, orange and turquoise. The smaller Speaker S is designed to be carried or attached to a strap or carabiner. CMF lists its sound output at up to 10 watts. The Speaker M has a built-in handle and a two-driver system, with output of up to 35 watts. The company positions it as the more powerful option for larger listening spaces. CMF advertises battery life of up to 18 hours for each speaker. One reported condition for that estimate is playback at half volume with bass boost enabled. The company also says users can pair two matching speakers for left-and-right stereo sound, or link multiple compatible speakers for shared playback.
