No Man’s Sky Comes to iPhone and iPad October 28

Published 12 October 2026

Hello Games says No Man’s Sky will launch on iPhone and iPad on October 28, bringing the space exploration game to Apple’s mobile devices with a free-to-try opening and a $19.99 purchase to unlock the full game. The release is announced, not yet available, as of October 12, 2026. The studio says the iOS version will include more than 40 major updates added to the game over the years, including the recent Cosmos update. The installation will require less than 5 gigabytes of storage. Hello Games says the game will run on iPhone 11 and newer models, as well as third-generation iPad Air and newer. The mobile edition will not include multiplayer at launch, and Planetary Settlements will also be unavailable initially. The studio has not promised when or whether either feature will be added. Hello Games co-founder Sean Murray said future support would depend on feedback and player numbers, leaving the version’s later feature set open. The game will use redesigned touch controls, while supporting controllers on iPhone and iPad. Players can also use a mouse and keyboard on iPad or cast the game to a television, according to the announcement.
