Martin Freeman will narrate the audiobook of Grand: The Autobiography of Gromit, as Told to Nick Park, giving the famously silent character a voice for his memoir. The book and audiobook are scheduled for release on October 22, 2026. Nick Park, the Wallace and Gromit creator, said Freeman was his choice for the narration and that he was pleased the actor accepted. Gromit has appeared alongside Wallace since 1989 and is known for communicating through facial expressions and gestures rather than speech. The memoir’s premise presents the dog as recounting his own story to Park. Its title, Grand: The Autobiography of Gromit, as Told to Nick Park, frames the book as a first-person account, with Park credited in the title as the person to whom it is told. Freeman is known for roles including Dr.
