Kim Jones to Relaunch Namesake Label in 2027

Published 13 October 2026

Kim Jones is relaunching his namesake fashion label, nearly two decades after closing its first incarnation, with a collection planned for autumn/winter 2027 and a Hong Kong flagship scheduled for October 2027. The designer announced the venture on October 12, saying it would bring together his interests in fashion, art and design and give him room to work with collaborators and explore new ideas. The launch is planned to begin online in mid-2027, ahead of the first collection’s autumn/winter release. The label says its designs will emphasize versatility and sit outside traditional categories. Its fashion offering is described as spanning menswear and womenswear, with a focus on tailoring and genderless designs. Most garments are planned to be produced in Japan, while leather goods are to be made in Italy. The brand has described its intended price point as considered. A first physical store is planned at Central Yards in Hong Kong in October 2027. The label has also outlined plans for further stores in Asia and distribution through selected retail partners.
