JD Twitch’s Record Collection to Go on Sale in London

Published 13 October 2026

The family of late DJ JD Twitch plans to sell part of his record collection at London record shop World of Echo, with the first in-person sale scheduled to begin on November 14, 2026. The shop is due to be devoted to the collection through November 19, before a second installment planned for 2027. The first sale is expected to include about 7,000 to 8,000 records, according to most of the supplied reporting. One report gives a substantially larger estimate of around 78,000 records for the first part, and the available information does not resolve the difference. World of Echo’s announcement gives no total in the material provided. JD Twitch was the stage name of Keith McIvor, the Scottish DJ and one half of the duo Optimo Espacio. He died in September 2025 from glioblastoma, according to the reports. His widow, Marissa Costello, said the family decided the records should return to circulation through an independent record shop rather than remain intact as an archive. Costello described the collection as the result of a lifetime of listening and record collecting. It began when McIvor was a child and grew across genres, countries and eras.
