Eagles trade Cam Jurgens to Ravens for two picks
The Philadelphia Eagles announced Wednesday that they are trading offensive lineman Cam Jurgens and a 2027 seventh-round draft pick to the Baltimore Ravens for a 2027 fifth-round pick and a 2028 second-round pick. The move sends the two-time Pro Bowl player to Baltimore as both teams address changes and injuries along their offensive lines. Jurgens, 27, had played center and left guard for Philadelphia. After left guard Landon Dickerson went on injured reserve following the season opener, Jurgens shifted to guard and Drew Kendall started at center. Reports say Jurgens is in concussion protocol and is not expected to play in Week 5. He was expected to make his Ravens debut against the Cleveland Browns in Week 6, though his availability depends on his health status. Baltimore has been dealing with injuries at center. Danny Pinter was lost for the season during training camp, while Jovaughn Gwyn and Ethan Pocic were injured in Week 3. Rookie Olaivavega Ioane moved from guard to center for a recent game. Acquiring Jurgens gives the Ravens another option at the position, although the team has not confirmed its lineup plans for his arrival.
