DWTS schedules first Super Bowl-themed episode

Published 13 October 2026

Dancing with the Stars scheduled its first Super Bowl-themed episode for Tuesday, October 13, with 11 celebrity-professional pairs set to perform routines inspired by halftime-show music and Joe Buck joining as a guest judge. Season 35, episode 6, titled Super Bowl Night, was scheduled to air live at 8 p.m. Eastern on ABC. The program was also listed for streaming on Disney. The supplied episode previews do not establish the broadcast’s results, so the performances and judging remain scheduled events rather than confirmed outcomes. The theme draws on songs associated with past Super Bowl halftime shows. The announced lineup spans artists including Rihanna, Shakira, Usher, Bruno Mars, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, Bad Bunny and Kendrick Lamar. The episode was billed as the show’s first devoted to Super Bowl halftime performances. Among the scheduled routines, Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov were set to dance a samba to Mi Gente by J Balvin and Willy William. Maura Higgins and Mark Ballas were assigned a tango to Rihanna’s Only Girl in the World, while Jenna Dewan and Val Chmerkovskiy were slated to perform a paso doble to Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance.
