Coinbase Integrates Deribit, Plans Coinbase Pro Relaunch

Published 7 October 2026

Coinbase said it has completed the integration of crypto derivatives exchange Deribit, bringing U.S. and international derivatives liquidity together through Coinbase Global Exchange, and plans to relaunch Coinbase Pro by the end of 2026 with a broader range of markets. The company said the planned version of Coinbase Pro will offer spot trading, futures, perpetual contracts, options and stocks. The relaunch is part of Coinbase’s effort to combine trading products on a single platform, though the company’s announcement describes it as a plan rather than a completed launch. Coinbase said the Deribit integration is complete and that eligible U.S. clients can access Deribit options and perpetual futures through Coinbase Financial Markets, its U.S. futures commission merchant, using Coinbase Prime. The company has described institutional access as available, while other product features and retail access are being rolled out in stages. Coinbase said it expects to make options, spot margin and unified portfolios available in the coming weeks. Its announcement said non-U.S. retail options would come first, with U.S. retail options later.
