Apple Says iPhone Duo Walk-In Stock Will Be Limited
Apple says selected Apple Stores will have limited iPhone Duo units available to walk-in customers when the phone launches on October 23, 2026, with the company expecting the supply to sell out quickly amid what it described as extraordinary preorder demand. The limited walk-in availability applies in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Mexico, Germany, the Netherlands, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Türkiye. Apple also said some stores in Italy would have units, but did not identify which locations. In Macao, walk-in stock will be available only on launch day and will also be limited. Apple has not disclosed how many phones participating stores will receive. The company’s statement does not guarantee that every store in an eligible market will have stock, and buying in person will depend on availability at the location customers visit. Walk-in purchases will not be offered on launch day in France, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates, Apple said. Customers in those markets will need to reserve a specific time for Apple Store pickup through Apple’s online store....
