Anthropic reports errors across Claude services

Anthropic said Tuesday it was investigating elevated errors affecting Claude.ai, Claude Code, Claude Cowork and the Claude API, leaving some users unable to access the services or complete common tasks. The company reported that errors had eased after it applied a mitigation, but sign-in problems and failures in some Code and Cowork sessions continued, and the supplied updates did not confirm a full restoration. Anthropic’s status page listed the affected services and warned users they could encounter failed requests, errors loading or sending conversations, or prompts to sign in again. It said retrying a request might succeed. One status update also included the company’s Console among the services affected. The disruption affected Claude’s web, desktop and mobile access, according to the status information and user reports. Some people described being unable to load conversations or send messages, while others reported difficulties signing in. A report from the United States cited nearly 1,400 DownDetector reports at approximately 9:02 a.m. Eastern time. Another account described a much higher snapshot of more than 11,800 reports, followed by a decline.
