Anthropic filing lists Amodei’s 2025 pay at $18 million
Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei received $18 million in compensation in 2025, most of it in stock and options, according to the company’s confidential IPO prospectus. The filing, which had not been made public in the reports, also lists $16.4 million in compensation for Anthropic President Daniela Amodei, Dario Amodei’s sister. The prospectus says the siblings’ annual salaries each rose to $1.4 million in July. Anthropic’s board also granted them restricted stock units in 2026. Some of those awards depend on their remaining at the company, while others are tied to the IPO, according to the filing. The filing lists Chief Financial Officer Krishna Rao’s 2025 salary as $720,250. It says Rao, who joined Anthropic in 2024, exercised stock options valued at $385,285 in 2025. Anthropic submitted its IPO paperwork confidentially in June. The company is preparing for a possible public listing, but its timing and valuation have not been settled in the information reported. Estimates cited in connection with the prospectus placed a potential valuation around or above $2 trillion; that is a prospective figure, not a final market value.
