Ripple Expands Prime Brokerage Deal With Brevan Howard

Published 6 October 2026

Ripple has expanded its relationship with Brevan Howard, giving funds managed by the investment firm access to multiasset prime brokerage, clearing and financing through Ripple Prime, the companies said on October 6. The services are intended to support activity across digital and traditional markets, though the announcement did not specify when Brevan Howard will begin using the expanded access or how much business it will conduct through the platform. The arrangement broadens an existing relationship between the firms. Funds affiliated with Brevan Howard participated in Ripple’s $500 million strategic investment round in 2025. The companies did not disclose financial terms for the expanded services agreement. Ripple Prime provides institutional brokerage and related services across multiple asset classes. Ripple built the business after acquiring Hidden Road for about $1.25 billion in 2025; Hidden Road subsequently became Ripple Prime. The platform is part of Ripple’s efforts to expand its institutional offerings beyond digital-asset services.
