AMC Sets Mayfair Witches: Salem Coven for December 30

AMC announced that Mayfair Witches Season 3 will be titled Mayfair Witches: Salem Coven and premiere December 30, 2026. The network unveiled a teaser for the season at its New York Comic Con panel, moving the series’ return into 2026 after previously saying it would come back in 2027. The third season is set in Salem, Massachusetts, and follows Alexandra Daddario’s Rowan Fielding as she encounters a new coven. AMC’s official season description says the story will expand the series’ witchcraft mythology, introduce new families and draw on Salem’s history. The teaser also offers a first look at the season’s setting and characters. Showrunner Esta Spalding said at the panel that the creative team wanted Rowan to become more formidable. The character’s story places her in Salem, where she is described as unable to leave freely while seeking a way out. The season’s promotional material presents the town and its witchcraft history as central to the new chapter. Eliza Scanlen joins the cast as Jessica, a Salem witch who befriends Rowan.
