Aerosmith Teases Hollywood Bowl Dates, Details Due Oct. 6
Aerosmith has teased dates of Oct. 29 and Nov. 1 at the Hollywood Bowl, but has not yet confirmed that the dates are concerts or identified who would perform. A video posted by the band shows singer Steven Tyler and photographer Ross Halfin adding letters to the Los Angeles venue’s marquee to spell “Aerosmith and Friends.” The clip says details will be revealed Oct. 6 at 7 a.m. Pacific time, or 10 a.m. Eastern time. The wording leaves open whether the dates involve Aerosmith as a full band or a different lineup. The teaser establishes a planned announcement and displays the two dates, but does not provide details about the event format, performers, tickets or other participants. Aerosmith’s promised announcement is expected to clarify what the marquee is advertising. The teaser comes after the band announced in August 2024 that it was retiring from touring. The decision followed Tyler’s vocal injury, which halted Aerosmith’s Peace Out farewell tour in September 2023. The band’s last full concert was in Elmont, New York, on Sept. 9, 2023, after three dates of the planned tour.
