Woman Struck at Trump Rally as He Mocks Epstein Files Protester
A woman wearing a “Release the Epstein Files” shirt was punched and pulled by the hair during President Donald Trump’s rally in Youngstown, Ohio, on October 12. Officers escorted her from the venue, while the man seen striking her appeared to remain inside, according to video of the confrontation. The disturbance unfolded as Trump spoke at the Covelli Centre. The woman had stood to heckle him, and footage showed an attendee shove and strike her before grabbing her hair. Officers moved in and led her toward an exit. The video also appeared to show the man staying in the arena and exchanging high-fives with other attendees. Trump addressed the protester from the stage as the altercation took place. He alleged, without presenting evidence, that the protester was paid to disrupt the rally, called protesters “scum,” and mocked the person’s appearance and weight. He repeatedly referred to the woman as a man and told the protester to go on a diet. The crowd chanted “USA” during the incident. The woman has not been publicly identified.
