Ubisoft unites Creative House 2 under Massive Entertainment

Published 1 October 2026

Ubisoft has brought its Creative House 2 development unit under the Massive Entertainment name, placing teams responsible for The Division, Ghost Recon and Splinter Cell across four cities under a shared label. The company said the change would not disrupt ongoing commitments to players. The unified brand covers development teams in Montréal, Paris, Sweden and Toronto. Ubisoft said it will also include original intellectual property, including March of Giants. The announcement describes a change in how the unit is organized and branded; it does not identify newly approved games or release plans for the franchises. Christoph Hartmann, general manager of the unit, said the shared identity could help teams combine their creative and technology expertise. He said the aim was to shape the franchises’ development, create games and intellectual property, and advance the teams’ work and technology. Those goals were presented as opportunities from the reorganization, rather than as completed outcomes. The change places the established Massive Entertainment name, associated with the Swedish studio, across a wider group of teams.
