After an 18-year hiatus, a new mainline Spyro the Dragon game has been announced. Titled Spyro: A Realm Beyond, the game is scheduled for release in spring 2027 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and the Nintendo Switch 2. The announcement was made on June 7, 2026, during the Xbox Games Showcase.
