Xbox Offers Working Alligator Series X in Sweepstakes

Xbox has unveiled the Xbox Series XBITE, a one-off, working Xbox Series X housed inside a replica alligator more than five feet long, and is offering it as the prize in a free U.S. sweepstakes. The company announced the promotion on November 3, with entries closing November 10 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time. The custom creation contains a functioning Series X in the alligator’s body. An illuminated Xbox logo marks the console’s position, while a custom Xbox Wireless Controller with bite marks rests between the replica’s jaws. Xbox says the system works, but recommends treating the XBITE primarily as a display piece. No real alligators were used or harmed in its construction, the company said. John Nolan Studio built the replica using 3D modeling, sculpting and fabrication. The creature-effects studio has worked on productions including The Witcher and Jurassic World Dominion.
