Forecast data cited in reports for the McGregor area on October 1 called for an 82% chance of precipitation, thunderstorms, wind gusts around 30 mph and more than four inches of rain. Those figures are predictions, not observed conditions. While the proposed event has been associated in reports with a SpaceX test site near McGregor, Tesla’s announcement did not confirm a venue. The format and content of the demonstration also remain unclear.
