Terranigma Rebirth Rerelease Announced for 2027

Clear River Games Development and Square Enix have announced a rerelease of the classic 1995 action RPG Terranigma, marking the first time the critically acclaimed title will be officially available in North America. The project, dubbed Terranigma Rebirth, is scheduled for release in 2027 across PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam and GOG. Originally developed by Quintet and published by Enix, Terranigma launched in Japan in October 1995 and in Europe in December 1996 but never received a North American release during the Super Nintendo's lifespan.
