Spider-Man: Brand New Day Passes $2.5 Billion Worldwide

Published 6 October 2026

Spider-Man: Brand New Day has passed $2.5 billion in worldwide box-office revenue, according to reporting published ahead of its digital release, placing it third among the highest-grossing films globally. Its position below Avengers: Endgame was reinforced by the 2019 film’s theatrical rerelease, which restored it to the top of the all-time ranking. Sony Pictures Entertainment was cited as reporting that Brand New Day had earned $2.506 billion worldwide, including $955 million in North America and $1.551 billion internationally. A separate weekend account described the total as a little over $2.5 billion. Because the reports reflect different snapshots and do not establish a final total, the figure should be read as a reported cumulative amount rather than the film’s confirmed completed-run gross. The milestone makes Brand New Day the third film reported to have crossed $2.5 billion worldwide, after Avengers: Endgame and Avatar. It is also described in the reports as the highest-grossing film of 2026 so far. One report said the movie had entered its tenth weekend in theaters and noted it had spent six consecutive weekends at No. 1 domestically.
