Slipknot has surprise-released "Arsenal," their first new song in over three years, marking a significant moment following recent lineup shifts. The track, which premiered on BBC Radio 1’s New Music Show with Jack Saunders, is the band’s first release since parting ways with longtime members Sid Wilson and Craig Jones, and the departure of drummer Jay Weinberg, who was replaced by Eloy Casagrande. "Arsenal" is also the first Slipknot release on the band’s own sicest Records label, following the completion of their extensive record deal with Roadrunner. Wilson’s departure was reportedly revealed by TMZ on July 31, 2026, though Slipknot’s camp had not officially commented at the time. The band later posted and deleted an announcement confirming Wilson was no longer a member.
