Singer Stella Lefty is facing a third accusation of plagiarism concerning her debut album, "Long Way Home," with listeners alleging that her song "Why Wouldnt We" bears significant resemblances to Blake Shelton's 2017 hit "Ill Name The Dogs." The allegations, which have gained traction on social media, point to similarities in both musical composition and lyrical themes, with both songs reportedly centering on couples dividing responsibilities in a hypothetical future. The 24-year-old artist, whose full name is Stella Lefkofsky, has been under scrutiny for originality since the release of her album on August 21st. Her breakout hit, "Boston," which reached No. 2 on the Billboard charts earlier this year and is currently No. 2 on the country charts, drew widespread comparisons to Noah Kahan's popular song "Stick Season." While Lefty initially stated she was not thinking of Kahan when writing "Boston," videos of her covering "Stick Season" resurfaced, and Kahan was subsequently added to the songwriting credits for "Boston" to avoid potential litigation.
