Securitize and LG CNS Explore South Korea Tokenization
Securitize and LG CNS have signed a memorandum of understanding to explore tokenized financial products and digital-asset infrastructure for institutions in South Korea, as LG CNS launched its KITL platform for financial firms. The agreement is exploratory: the companies have not announced a specific product or live issuance, and any services would depend on regulatory review and internal approvals. The companies said their cooperation could include tokenized funds and securities, stablecoin infrastructure and other digital-asset services. They also plan to examine opportunities in South Korea and other Asia-Pacific markets. Securitize is expected to contribute its experience with regulated tokenization, while LG CNS would bring technology services and relationships in South Korea’s financial sector. The precise scope of any resulting products has not been established. LG CNS introduced KITL, short for Keystone of Institutional Trust Landscape, on October 6. The company described the platform as providing institutional digital wallets, transaction processing, network-fee support and collection of transaction records.
