Robinhood Plans U.S. Crypto Futures With Up to 10x Leverage

Published 30 September 2026

Robinhood said it plans to offer U.S. customers crypto perpetual futures with leverage of up to 10 times on Bitcoin and Ether, alongside trading tools that include in-app AI agents and proposed weekend access to selected stocks and exchange-traded funds. The company announced the plans at its HOOD Summit on September 29, but most of the products remain forthcoming or subject to review, and no precise start date was given for the futures. The planned contracts would cover eight cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, Ether, Solana, XRP, Dogecoin, ADA, LINK and HYPE. Robinhood said Bitcoin and Ether positions could have up to 10 times leverage, while the other six assets would be capped at three times. The contracts would have no fixed expiry, and the company said users would be able to set stop-loss and take-profit instructions, monitor liquidation levels and receive risk alerts. Robinhood said the futures would be offered through Robinhood Derivatives, using infrastructure from Bitstamp, which Robinhood acquired in 2025. The company announced a fee of 0.01 per trade through December 2026, but the reports do not establish the unit or currency for that figure.
