Reacher Season 4 Finale Resolves WMD Plot, Sends Evidence to Press

Published 17 September 2026

The fourth season of the Amazon Prime Video series Reacher concluded with its protagonist securing a flash drive containing evidence of a secret U.S. government chemical weapons program and entrusting it to a journalist for public exposure. In the finale, Jack Reacher, along with allies Tamara and Jacob, stormed the hideout of the antagonists, Lila and Amisha Hoth, who were producing a lethal toxin. Reacher killed Lila, while Jacob arrested Amisha, choosing justice over personal revenge for the murders of his sister and nephew. The central conflict revolved around the flash drive, which held the formula for the toxin and details of Operation Mongoose, a covert project initiated after the 1995 Sarin subway attack. The Hoths had planned to auction the weapon's formula online. After the confrontation, Reacher gave the drive to journalist Russell Plum, instructing him to publish the story. This decision ensures the secret operation will become public, despite potential political fallout. The season's events also resolved the personal arcs of several characters.
