Schwarzenegger plays Santa in Prime Video heist comedy

Amazon MGM Studios has released the first full trailer for The Man With the Bag, a Christmas heist comedy starring Arnold Schwarzenegger as Santa Claus and Alan Ritchson as a thief recruited to recover Santa’s stolen magic bag. The film is scheduled to premiere globally on Prime Video on December 2, 2026, according to the studio announcement. In the trailer, Santa turns to Vance, played by Ritchson, after an elf steals his bag of presents. Awkwafina plays the elf, identified as Nadia, who takes it. Santa and Vance set out to retrieve the bag before Christmas, with Vance’s daughter, played by Berkeley James, also part of the story. The film’s supporting cast includes Michael Cyril Creighton, Liza Koshy, Kyle Mooney, Jane Krakowski and Ken Jeong. Adam Shankman directed the movie from a screenplay by Allan Rice. Ritchson is also among its producers, alongside Lawrence Grey, Ben Everard, Reg Tigerman and Dan Spilo.
