Prime Video to Adapt Stephen King's Crouch End as Limited Series

Prime Video has announced a new six-part limited series titled "Crouch End," based on the short story by Stephen King. The project, which will be the first King adaptation produced in the United Kingdom, was revealed on August 27, 2026. The series is set to be filmed in London, marking a geographical departure for adaptations of the author's work, which is predominantly set in his native Maine. The story, originally published in the 1980 anthology "New Tales of the Cthulhu Mythos," is a homage to the cosmic horror of H.P. Lovecraft. It follows a couple who become lost in the North London district of Crouch End, where the boundaries between dimensions are thin.
