Nepal-Tibet Flood Death Toll Reaches 750 With Thousands Missing

Devastating floods triggered by a glacial collapse along the Nepal-Tibet border have killed at least 750 people and left more than 3,000 missing, as rescue teams from both nations continued their search efforts on Sunday. The disaster, which began on Wednesday, has created a massive humanitarian crisis across the Himalayan region. Nepal's National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority reported on Sunday that the death toll in the country had risen to 734, with 2,498 people still missing. This updated figure includes 589 foreign nationals, an increase from previous reports. The authority stated that a total of 8,186 people have been rescued, including 227 foreigners.
