Naughty Dog Sets 2027 Intergalactic Reveal, Teases Two Projects

Naughty Dog plans to fully reveal its game Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet in 2027, studio president Neil Druckmann said, while also disclosing that two new projects in The Last of Us universe are in very early development. The studio has not announced release dates or formats for any of the projects. Druckmann said the team would remain quiet about Intergalactic for the rest of 2026 before offering a full reveal next year. He described it as the studio’s most ambitious game yet and said the presentation would give audiences a proper look at protagonist Jordan’s science-fiction adventure. The comments set an expectation for a reveal, not a release: Naughty Dog has not confirmed when the game will be available or provided further details about its gameplay. Druckmann also said Naughty Dog has a couple of new The Last of Us projects in very early stages.
