Massachusetts woman arrested for intimidating juror in Clancy trial

A 56-year-old woman was arrested and charged with intimidating a juror after she was allegedly caught filming members of the jury outside the Plymouth County courthouse where Lindsay Clancy is on trial for the murder of her three children. Dawn Light of Sutton, Massachusetts, was taken into custody by state police at approximately 3:40 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, just as jurors were being dismissed for the day. Light was arraigned Wednesday morning in Plymouth District Court on a single count of intimidating a witness, juror, or person furnishing information in connection with criminal proceedings. She pleaded not guilty. According to prosecutors, Light was observed in a restricted employee parking lot using her phone to record people leaving the building. When Massachusetts State Police troopers approached her, she initially denied recording anyone and said she was waiting to see if the defendant, Lindsay Clancy, would emerge from the courthouse. A subsequent search of Light's phone, which she voluntarily provided to troopers, revealed no images in the main gallery.
