Marvel Unveils VisionQuest Posters, Sparking Fan Speculation

Published 18 September 2026

Marvel Studios has released three new character posters for its upcoming Disney+ series VisionQuest, spotlighting the central figures of Vision, Ultron, and Tommy Maximoff. The promotional artwork, unveiled on September 17, 2026, has sparked fan speculation about potential hidden character reveals. The posters depict Paul Bettany's Vision in a domestic setting, James Spader's Ultron in a human form with his robotic visage reflected in a mirror, and Ruaridh Mollica's Tommy Maximoff submerged underwater. The imagery for Tommy references his storyline from the series Agatha All Along, where his soul was transferred into the body of a drowning teenager. VisionQuest is set to premiere on Disney+ on October 14, 2026. The series will follow a rebooted Vision who has escaped those seeking to weaponize him and is now in hiding. His search for new meaning leads him to consult the AI personas embedded in his programming, including J.A.R.V.I.S., F.R.I.D.A.Y., E.D.I.T.H., and Ultron. His existence is disrupted when a bounty is placed on his head, forcing him on the run with Thomas Shepherd, a mysterious boy who may be his reincarnated son.
