Disney Releases Percy Jackson Season 3 Trailer

Disney has released a trailer for the third season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, previewing Percy’s effort to rescue Annabeth after she is captured by forces serving Kronos. The season is scheduled to begin with two episodes on November 20 on Disney+ and Hulu, according to the announced release plan. The new season adapts The Titan’s Curse, the third book in Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson series. The trailer and official synopsis set out a perilous journey for Percy, played by Walker Scobell, after Annabeth Chase, played by Leah Sava Jeffries, disappears into Kronos’ hands. The synopsis says Percy must free a goddess held in chains, confront the Titans’ curse and avoid bringing about the fall of Olympus. His friend Grover, played by Aryan Simhadri, accompanies him, along with other questmates. The trailer establishes the rescue mission as the story’s central thread, while the synopsis points to a prophecy with serious consequences. The announced schedule calls for two episodes at the November 20 premiere, followed by two episodes each week. The season has not yet aired, so the trailer offers a preview rather than a completed account of the story. Disney’s announcement...
