Mandalorian and Grogu Film Streams on Disney+ Starting September 2

Disney will begin streaming "Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu" on its platform starting September 2, 2026, marking the film's home release following its theatrical run earlier this year. The move brings the feature-length adventure of bounty hunter Din Djarin and his companion Grogu back to the streaming service where their story began. The film, directed by Jon Favreau, opened in theaters on May 22, 2026. It represents the first theatrical Star Wars release since 2019. The story follows Din Djarin, played by Pedro Pascal, and Grogu as they are recruited by the New Republic to locate Rotta the Hutt, voiced by Jeremy Allen White.
