Lisa returns with rap single SaWaDiKa

Lisa, the rapper and singer from the group Blackpink, has released a new single titled "SaWaDiKa," marking a return to her hip-hop roots. The track, which translates to "hello" in Thai, was released on September 4, 2026, and serves as the lead single from her upcoming EP, "Press Play," scheduled for release on October 23, 2026. The song and its accompanying music video, directed by Bang Jae Yeob and filmed in Lisa's native Bangkok, Thailand, showcase an energetic, bass-heavy production and high-fashion visuals. The single features electronic beats and thumping drums, with Lisa delivering confident rap verses. The music video includes a variety of bold fashion looks, from a red leather bodysuit and boxing shorts to a neon blue bikini, and features choreography set against Bangkok landmarks such as the Hua Lamphong railway station and the Dib Bangkok art museum. The production is credited to Thom Bridges and the songwriting duo Ojivolta. "SaWaDiKa" is Lisa's first solo single of 2026, following her collaboration with Anitta and Rema on the FIFA World Cup 2026 anthem "Goals" in May.
