Katseye exits Olivia Rodrigo's festival after member's ankle injury

K-pop girl group Katseye has withdrawn from Olivia Rodrigo's inaugural Daisy Chain Fields festival, scheduled for Saturday, August 29, in Irvine, California, after member Megan Skiendiel suffered an ankle injury. The cancellation was announced on Thursday, August 27, just two days before the event. In a statement shared on Instagram, the group explained that Megan sprained her ankle during a tour rehearsal on Wednesday, August 26. After a medical evaluation, doctors advised her to rest and allow the injury to heal properly ahead of the group's upcoming tour. "We're so incredibly sorry to share that we are unable to perform at Daisy Chain Fields this Saturday," the statement read. "We know how much our fans were looking forward to seeing us, and it breaks our hearts to disappoint anyone who made plans to be there." The festival's official Instagram account confirmed the change, stating that Megan was recovering and wishing her a "smooth and speedy recovery." Altpop singer-songwriter Devon Again has been announced as the replacement, taking Katseye's 1 p.m. time slot on Saturday. Daisy Chain Fields is a self-curated, all-women music festival headlined by Rodrigo.
