Karoline Leavitt to Join Fox News as Contributor

Published 5 October 2026

Fox News announced that former White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt will join the network as an on-air contributor beginning November 1, giving her a new role in television commentary after leaving the Trump administration at the end of August. The network said Leavitt is expected to contribute across Fox News programming. The announcement did not specify which shows she will appear on or how often. Her start date is still in the future; the appointment has been announced, but her contributor role has not yet begun. Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott said Leavitt’s experience in the White House and on the presidential campaign trail gave her a distinct understanding of politics. Leavitt said she was grateful for the opportunity and looked forward to bringing viewers her perspective from serving as press secretary. Leavitt, 29, served as the administration’s press secretary from January 2025 until August 2026. She previously worked on Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign and held communications roles in his first administration. She became the youngest person to serve as White House press secretary, according to the reports.
