Judge Judy Retiring From On-Camera TV After 30-Year Career

Judy Sheindlin, the television personality known as Judge Judy, is retiring from on-camera work after more than three decades presiding over televised courtrooms. The 83-year-old confirmed that her current show, Judy Justice, will conclude with its final episode in October 2026, marking the end of a career that began with the syndicated series Judge Judy in 1996. While stepping away from the bench, Sheindlin will remain involved in television production. She is executive producing a new syndicated court show, Adams Law, which stars her son, Adam Levy. The series premieres on September 14, 2026, almost exactly 30 years after her original show debuted.
