IONNA Says U.S. Charging Network Tops 180 Sites

Published 30 September 2026

IONNA says its U.S. electric-vehicle charging network has grown to more than 180 sites, more than twice its roughly 80 sites at the start of 2026. The automaker-backed company attributed the expansion to a rapid buildout that includes more than 40 charging sites at Circle K locations, part of a partnership announced in April. The site count is based on IONNA’s own figures. Its chief executive, Seth Cutler, said the network had passed 100 sites around the company’s second anniversary and had more than doubled over the first nine months of the year. The company has not provided an independently verified inventory or a definition of how it counts a site, leaving its scale difficult to compare precisely with other networks. IONNA says its network is the largest in the United States specifically among those using 400-kilowatt chargers. That measure does not make it the largest fast-charging network overall. The company has more than 1,500 charging ports across 30 states, according to a company account, while Tesla, EVgo and Electrify America have substantially more sites or locations under broader network comparisons. The network also ranked first in the 2026 J.D. Power U.S.
