Heated Rivalry producers launch Irina Foundation

Published 1 October 2026

The producers of Heated Rivalry have launched the Irina Foundation, a fund that will support existing nonprofit programs in sports and the arts for LGBTQIA2S and underserved communities. Jacob Tierney and Brendan Brady, co-founders of production company Accent Aigu Entertainment, announced the initiative on September 29. The foundation says its mission is to advance inclusivity, mental wellbeing and resilience by backing programs that connect people through organized sports and the arts. It plans to support established nonprofits running qualifying programs rather than operate programs of its own. No grant recipients or funding allocations were identified in the launch information. Kate Spade New York was named the foundation’s inaugural donor, and Harry’s was identified as an early supporter. The announcement did not disclose the amount of either contribution. Tierney and Brady described the foundation as a way to give back to a community they value. Accent Aigu Entertainment president Jayme Alter Wilson said the name reflects the idea that people facing struggles deserve support and recognition.
