Drishyam The Conclusion Opens With Unsettled Box-Office Estimates
Ajay Devgn’s Hindi film Drishyam The Conclusion opened in cinemas on October 2, with early box-office reports indicating a strong start but offering sharply different estimates of its India collections. A final, consistently measured Day 1 total was not available in the reports reviewed. A live tally published on release day put the film’s India net collections at Rs 51.09 crore and gross collections at Rs 60.29 crore across 12,382 shows. The tally was still being updated, so those amounts were provisional. A separate trade estimate put the Day 1 net total at Rs 70 crore to Rs 75 crore. The reports did not reconcile their figures or specify comparable measurement cutoffs and methods, leaving the final opening-day result unsettled. The live tally said the Rs 51.09 crore net figure had moved the film ahead of Singham Again’s reported first-day net collection of Rs 43.70 crore in 2024, making it Devgn’s biggest opening-day performer at that point. That comparison depends on the unfinished tally and may change when final figures are available. The higher trade estimate likewise remains an estimate, not an audited result.
