GTA 6 Romance Between Jason and Lucia Is Optional

Rockstar Games has confirmed that the romantic relationship between the dual protagonists of Grand Theft Auto 6, Jason and Lucia, is entirely optional and will not be forced upon players. The developer revealed that while the narrative requires the two characters to work together as partners in crime, any progression of their romance is up to the player's choice and engagement. According to Rob Nelson, head of development and costudio head at Rockstar North, the relationship is a central element of the story but can be ignored without penalty. "I have to say it feels great if you are into it as a concept. Don't bother with it if you aren't. Up to you," Nelson said in an interview.
