A surge of leaked footage and images from the highly anticipated video game Grand Theft Auto 6 has sparked intense debate online about the authenticity of the material and whether it represents a playable build of the unreleased title. The situation escalated on August 20 when a user or group known as CyberLeek posted what they claimed was gameplay from a playable version of the game. The footage, which circulated on social media and forums, reportedly showed various in-game elements including exploration, a six-star wanted level, side activities, and character interactions. In one clip, the leaker spelled out their username with bullets on an in-game wall. Rockstar Games has not officially confirmed the authenticity of any leaked material but has issued DMCA takedown notices against the videos, a strong indication the company considers them unauthorized. The authenticity of the leaks remains a central point of dispute.
