Fox Sets January 6, 2027, Premiere for Baywatch Reboot

Fox’s Baywatch reboot is scheduled to premiere January 6, 2027, at 9 p.m., with Stephen Amell returning to the franchise as Hobie Buchannon, now a captain of the lifeguard team. The series continues the story of the long-running beach-rescue franchise with a new generation of characters and a storyline centered on Hobie’s family and work. In the series, Hobie follows in the footsteps of his father, Mitch. His life is disrupted by the arrival of his daughter, Charlie, played by Jessica Belkin, who wants to become a Baywatch lifeguard and carry on the family legacy. The premise places their relationship alongside the team’s beach duties and the personal challenges facing its members. The ensemble includes Shay Mitchell, Brooks Nader, Hassie Harrison, Livvy Dunne, Noah Beck and Thaddeus LaGrone. David Chokachi returns as Cody Madison, a character from the original series. The cast also includes recurring performers Ashley Moore, Luke Eisner, Nadia Gray, Kylar Miranda and Charlie McElveen. Megan Thee Stallion is set to appear.
