Fox News Plans October 1 Premiere for The Girls Podcast

Fox News announced Monday that it plans to launch The Girls, a weekly podcast featuring a rotating lineup of women, with a premiere scheduled for October 1. The network said new episodes are planned for Thursdays on Fox News Digital, YouTube, Spotify and Apple Podcasts. The announcement describes a planned release; it does not establish that the premiere has taken place. Fox News said the first episode will feature Rachel Campos-Duffy, Harris Faulkner, Kat Timpf, Melissa DeRosa and Samantha Ponder. Later episodes are expected to use different combinations of hosts and guests, rather than a fixed panel. The network has not specified who will appear in subsequent installments. The show is intended to cover subjects including politics, pop culture, money, marriage, parenting, relationships and careers. Fox News described the format as a conversation series with a range of women from within the network and beyond.
